Your day, step by step

Full day Golubac, the gorge and Lepenski Vir
Drive east from Belgrade to Golubac Fortress, where nine towers climb the cliff at the point the Danube narrows into the Đerdap gorge. Continue along the river road through the national park, stopping at viewpoints, and break for a riverside lunch. In the afternoon, visit Lepenski Vir, whose trapezoid houses and fish-faced stone sculptures were made by people living on this bend of the river thousands of years ago, then drive back to Belgrade.
