Full day Novi Sad, Sremski Karlovci and Fruška Gora
Leave Belgrade in the morning for Novi Sad, just under 100 km to the north-west. Start at Petrovaradin Fortress for the view over the Danube and the city, then cross the river for a walk through Novi Sad's old town and a break for lunch. In the afternoon, drive the short distance to Sremski Karlovci, once the seat of the Serbian Metropolitanate, and taste Bermet in a family wine cellar. On the way back, stop at Krušedol Monastery in the woods of Fruška Gora before returning to Belgrade in the early evening.
