Day 1 To Nova Varoš
Drive south-west from Belgrade, over Zlatibor, to the mountain town of Nova Varoš for two nights.

Day 2 The Uvac meanders and the Pešter plateau
Board a boat for the Uvac reserve and follow the lake through its tight meanders, watching for griffon vultures on the cliffs. Depending on the route, stops can include the ice cave and the short, steep path to the Molitva viewpoint over the bends. The exact route, duration and stops depend on the season, weather and water conditions, and are confirmed with the local operator for your booking. In the afternoon, cross onto the open Pešter plateau at Sjenica for a late lunch of the region's cheese and lamb at the table of a local family.
