Signature moments
Many languages, one plain
Six languages are in official use in Vojvodina. In a week you'll hear Hungarian in Subotica, Slovak in Kovačica and Romanian around Vršac, and taste the kitchens that came with them.
Painters at their kitchen tables
In Kovačica, naïve painting began among Slovak farming families in the 1930s and is now on UNESCO's list of intangible heritage. We visit a painter in their studio, where the pictures are still made.
